Question-y thing I stole from an LJ I randomly ended up on

. Who is your favorite singer/musician? Why? U2, because they've made such incredible music that has had a profound impact on my life.

2. What one singer/musician can you not stand? Why? Kylie Minogue, because she has no talent whatsoever.

3. If your favorite singer wasn't in the music business, do you think you would still like him/her as a person? Yep.

4. Have you been to any concerts? If yes, who put on the best show? Unfortunately not, although some U2 videos I've got, it kind of feels like I'm there ...

5. What are your thoughts on downloading free music online vs. purchasing albums? Do you feel the RIAA is right in its pursuit to stop people from dowloading free music?

No. The RIAA should zark off. I think it's perfectly fine to download songs online, especially if you want to find out what a band is like and don't have the money to go buy any of their CDs. However, if you like a band, then you probably should get out there and support them by buying their CD. And the way the RIAA is going about stopping people from downloading songs ... it's all wrong. They're alienating the general public, and giving the impression that they're just pissed off they're not getting as much money as they used to. It's like, *gasp* people are getting something for free! This isn't right, we need to continue to line our pockets with cash!

Bloody morons.
