I hate it when stuff breaks, but it's even more annoying when it breaks for entirely no reason. My headphones have suddenly decided to broadcast music so I feel like I'm listening down a long echoing tube. I've had three pairs of headphones from the same brand - the first two died after considerable periods of use, thanks to rough treatment and accidents of various descriptions that generally involved tumbles onto my slate floor. This third pair, however, has been treated extremely well in the short time I've owned it, but apparently it hasn't taken nicely to that and decided to just die of its own accord. Occasionally proper sound comes through for a second, then it goes again. Most of the time, I feel like I'm listening to some low quality MP3.
Hooray for craptastically low quality standards! If it's going to last more than six months, don't make it!
