Beach ball

Yesterday, continued today.

Trends and influences of reading can be an interesting thing. Yesterday, I ran the first half of a test, and today I am running the second half.

Before I say anything more or offer a word of explanation: if you are reading this, please leave a comment. It can be as simple as 'I read'. If you don't have a LiveJournal account, you CAN comment anonymously. Please, if you are reading, comment. Now here's your explanation.

Those of you who read yesterday's entry will know I'm not comment-whoring or trying to find out who actually reads my journal or anything silly like that. I am testing the theory that if you use an LJ-cut, people are less inclined to read your entry, and I am basically going to compare the amount of unique individual commenters from today (the entry without a cut) to yesterday (the entry with a cut). It's ridiculously unscientific and there's a stack of uncontrolled variables, but hopefully the results will be of some interest. So if you are reading, it is crucial that you comment. There is no other way I can know that you have read this. Thank you and have a good one.
