I'm not surprised and you shouldn't be, either

Hardcore Junkie (61% - 80%)
While you do get a bit of sleep every night and sometimes leave the house, you spend as much time as you can online. You usually have a browser, chat clients, server consoles, and your email on auto check open at all times. Phone? What's that? You plan your social events by contacting your friends online. Just be careful you don't get a repetitive wrist injury...

It was a boring day ... do let it get away ... boring day ...

Oh my MacPhisto, today was very boring. I'm tired. Need sleep. But it's only 5:25pm. I nearly fell asleep in Geography, which would've been funny. Blasted early start for Maths C.

And I hate the Soon MB. Why is no-one over there? Renegade is taking over the bloody place, and he's neither cool or funny. People, this board is a grower, we can't just let it waste away.

Mum'll be home from her holiday soon, which is cool. Sounds like she's had heaps of fun, cruising, snorkelling, whale-watching, et cetera. She'll probably be back within the hour ...

I'd think of something more to talk about, but I'm too tired and nothing much happened today, anyhow.

Australians and earthquakes

Being a Kiwi, I'm used to earthquakes. I've grown up with them, done earthquake drills at school, slept through them; they're something that don't phase me in the slightest. So when a minor earthquake shook northern Queensland earlier today (Australia is supposedly 'earthquake free' but gets some occasionally) and there was massive coverage on the news, I found it very amusing. An earthquake of a similar scale in NZ wouldn't have warranted a mention on anything more important than the local radio news.

And I see Arnold Schwarzenegger is running for Californian Governor. How amusing.

A remarkable lack of interest

Before I begin: grr, my Internet's frustrating. Said it was connecting on the seventh attempt and then just died. Weird. But then it connected two attempts later, so that's not so bad.

Mum's back from holiday ... and it barely feels like she's been gone at all, or at least in some ways. I've missed the little things - getting picked up from school on time, Mum being downstairs in the morning, lunch already being made (before you accuse me of being slack, she always does it before I'm even up and I probably couldn't stop her if I tried), et cetera - but she's always out of late or I'm always online that it did not seem like she was gone for tremendously long. But it's good to have her back.

And when she's telling me about her holiday ... to be perfectly honest, I'm not amazingly interested, which shocks me. It's like "OK, you went sailing, you cruised around there, you saw all those fishes, you snorkelled in that harbour" but no real thrill. I honestly thought I'd be interested quite a bit more. Maybe I'll get a bit more interested sooner or later. Some of the stuff they did does sound pretty neat.

So yes, that's about it for now. Don't have a lot to mention considering the boring nature of today.

Stuff

It's too late to make a decent entry ... not enough happened to write about, anyhow.

I downloaded a live version of Spanish Eyes by U2 from 08/08/2001 in Barcelona earlier tonight. Good song; I liked it. I also downloaded MSN 6, which I really like. Go my U2 backgrounds.

Ah ... I had something else to add now, but I've forgotten what. I didn't go to Junior Council this morning but to Maths C - Maths C was good, although I probably should've gone to Junior Council. Oh well, I don't care.

And I've worked out that, with my higher download limit, I can probably visit all the sites I normally do in a day and still have enough limit spare to get a song each day. I see that as very cool. 30 songs a month. w00t. I like that, a lot.

Anyhow, too late to be up. Must sleep. I was tired enough this morning. I was going to have an early night, but no, I haven't. Bad Andre. And I'm supposed to be shot by someone (probably Sam or Patrick but 20 years older) coming back in time before midnight tonight. Just so you all know. Will elaborate more tomorrow if I remember to.
