I had the weirdest dreams last night. And streams, if you want to go by what I originally typed. There was going to be a long story to accompany this, but alas, I can't think of a clever and interesting way to word anything today. Apart from making it rhyme unintentionally.

The holidays are grand. Alright, so I'm not officially on holidays yet, but I might as well be because tomorrow's exam isn't exactly the hardest thing known to mankind. I love response to stimulus exams ... they're so delightfully me-ish. Why is it they keep on saying "Don't write short stories"? "It's easier to write an essay or [some other silly genre you don't care for]." What have the English teachers at my school been smoking? OF COURSE IT'S EASIER TO WRITE A SHORT STORY! Good bob. They give you the stimulus so there's no worries about coming up with ideas, and then you actually can make stuff up instead of trying to be accurate and factual. AND STORIES ARE FUN. Though it seems like no-one at my school knows how to punctuate properly when it comes to story writing. It's not their fault, though. It's not necessarily my school's fault, either. See, these people don't know basic rules of grammar that you should've known by the time you reached grade four. But they're just not being taught any more. The education system seems to be going right up the wop in a big way. No wonder so many people online use silly little abbreviations and no grammar - BECAUSE THEY HAVEN'T BEEN TAUGHT IT! People I know are always getting me to read through their stories and offer correctional tips, because their own knowledge of grammar stinks. You can tell things are in a really bad way when grade elevens still get into a quandary about whether to use 'their' or 'there', when it really should be 'they're'.

Anyhow, that'll do for my rant today. Most likely more useless garbage to come later.

Not quite useless garbage.

[Stuff I don't understand]

I'm so sorry ... that my voice wasn't there tonight. But better to be here than anywhere else in the world tonight.

Is it getting better?
Or do you feel the same?
Will it make it easier on you now
you've got someone to blame?
You say
One love
One life
One need in the night
One love
We get to share it
Leaves you baby
If you don't care for it

Did I disappoint you?
Leave a bad taste in your mouth?
You act like you never had love
And you want me to go without
Is it
Too late tonight
To drag the past out into the light?
We're one
But we're not the same
We get to carry each other
Carry each other
One

Have you come here for forgiveness?
Have you come to raise the dead?
Have you come here to play Jesus?
'Cos I can't

Did I ask too much?
More than a lot
You gave me nothing
Now it's all I got
We're one
But we're not the same, yeah
We hurt each other
And we do it again
You say
Love is a temple
Love a higher law
Love is a temple
Love a higher law
You ask me to enter
Then you make me crawl
I can't be holding on
To what you got
When all you got is hurt

One love
One blood
One life
You get to do what you should
One life
With each other
Every man my sister
Every woman my brother
One life
But we're not the same
Get to carry each other
Go on, carry each other
One

[Serbian]
I don't have to tell you ...
To be united is a great thing
But to respect difference, maybe even a greater thing
So for the city of the future
Sarajevo!
City of the future!
Sarajevo!
City of the future!

You hear us coming Lord?
You hear us call?
You hear us knocking, we're knocking at Your door
You hear us coming Lord?
You hear us call?
See us scratching, oh [Lord?]
You make me crawl

Why is it every Australian I meet online is from Victoria? First there was Pat and Chantel, then Burns's Rhiana, and now the guys from Interference. Ironic.
