Oh good bob ... flood in my hometown

Oh my ... oh my ... I'm in shock.

Plane went down in storm.

Another article.

From the last article: "A state of civil emergency was declared last night after flooding in Paekakariki, 42km north of Wellington.

It is unlikely to be lifted until tomorrow."

I'm trying to find more articles but at the moment I can't. I'm from the Kapiti Coast, north of Wellington. The town of Paekakariki is one south of my hometown Raumati Beach (well actually Raumati South is in between but Raumati Beach and South run into each other), and something I never expected to see is little ol' Paekok on Australian primetime news. Well, Mum just yelled out to me, I shot downstairs, and there it was ... and it was devastation. Floods have just ripped through the place, and from what I can gather Paekok wasn't the only place that was hit.

This is my flaming hometown. I know people there. Oh my ... oh good bob ... I'm stunned.

Mum needs to make phone calls, so I better get offline.
